We customized this 54.8V 20A waterproof battery charger for a Germany company, charging for their robot which powered by 48V Li-ion battery pack.

 

This 48V 20A waterproof smart battery charger is universal 90~264Vac input voltage, so our customer can sell their robot to their users worldwide, no worry about the input 110V or 230V which is different in different countries.

 

We set max charging voltage at 54.8Vdc for their special charging requirements. It is different from other customers the max charging voltage is often 58.4V for LiFePO4 battery or 54.6V or 58.8V for Li-ion battery packs. Also we add Pre-charging step for this charger. What is Pre-charging step? Simply, it is a charging step with small charging current before charger goes to CC(constant current) mode charging step. Pre-charging can help recovering voltage for over-discharged battery pack, protecting battery's life. Our battery charger can detect battery's voltage and then decide to charge with Pre-charging or CC charging firstly. After a cycle of Pre-charging, CC and CV charging steps, your battery packs are fully charged and enter into a long life using.
